Many religious people are choosing to become vegan. Some do it out of compassion for animals, others do it for the health benefits, but does veganism clash with their religion? According to Reverend Linzey, veganism does not clash with religion. Furthermore, it is compatible with religion.
For example, dominion over animals actually means we have a moral responsibility to protect the animals. When people say it's okay to hurt animals because humans were given dominion over them, they are completely misunderstanding the biblical meaning of the word 'Dominion'.
