In Every Way That Matters, We Are The Same
All animals are the same, in every aspect that matters. Peter Singer, a known philosopher, explains in his groundbreaking book "Animal Liberation" that every animal that is capable of suffering deserves moral consideration.
What does 'moral consideration' means? It means that even if an animal is not cute or important in our opinion, it is not morally okay to cause them to suffer. It means that it is just as immoral to harm a chicken or a pig, as it is to harm a dog or a cat.
